Living Projects: Tibby’s Triangle, Southwold

by vytasvulgaris

This must be one of the most cute urban design and architecture projects in the contemporary housing construction. Showing devoted work and apparently a perfect match of local politicians, designers and developers. Lucky are those 1458 Southwold’ers!

‘ This film describes the transformation of the former Adnams distribution depot, which was closed off to the town, into a new mini-citadel of contemporary homes, a shop and cafe around a central square, connected back into Southwold via a number of pedestrian and vehicle through routes.’

‘Living Projects have completed a series of films celebrating winning schemes of the Housing Design Awards 2012. ‘

Check for beautifully presented more or less cute, but for sure high quality innovative, mostly spatially and socially aware,  contemporary housing projects in UK.
